Monday

Mini Holiday Session on the Farm

Yesterday, I met up with an old colleague for a photo shoot.  I finally got a chance to meet her charming family.  Her 3 1/2 year old twin boys were adorable and so well behaved.  They just loved the farm!  I don't think I have ever heard "CHEESE" so many times in one day!  We were lucky that it was a beautiful day on the farm.  The sun was out and the temperature was just right.   Even though the leaves had fallen from the trees we still were able to capture these beautiful photos.  I am really happy with the way they turned out, I hope you enjoy them as well! I'm going to start posting my photos in my teasers.

The perfect Autumn evening on the farm.

This has been my second time shooting London & Grace.  The last time was in April 2009 and boy have they grown both in height and personalities.  They were such good little models!  They have a very close knit family.  One day I'm going to capture the whole family in a beautiful photograph.

Saturday

Brock

Today, I met Brock a one an half year old that kept me on my toes!  His mom told me he was a mover and she wasn't kidding.  He had me running all over the farm.  With all his energy I was still able to get some really cute and memorable shots of him.  Thanks again Alisca for choosing to work with me when I know you had a great list of photographers to chose from.  I hope you like them.

I'm only posting three photos now since I'm off to Arizona for 10 days and will post more when I return.

The Fair

These are a few of the farm animals from the local county fair today.

Thursday

Helena

On Aug. 1st Kara and Jason joined me on the farm with their soon to be one year old daughter Helena. We were fighting the weather that day and with luck on our side it didn't rain. Helena is teething so wasn't in much of a smiling mood but, she sure had a lot of cute expressions to show and I caught a smile here and there. The shoot was a real delight.

Tuesday

Mini Sessions in the Fall

Two great Fall days. The photos beneath this I shoot as a "Mini Session" for Jill and Seth. I did the second session above since their little boy became really sick during our first session. They originally wanted the photos taken at their home which we did the first time but, I suggested we shoot on my family's farm and that's what we did for the second session and the photos came out great.

Sunday

Country Chic

I was lucky enough to take photos of my two Aunts, Mom, and Grandfather on June 20th. We shoot at my Grandfather house and man once again was it hot out! My one Aunt wanted to have these photos take before she had to have major surgery, and she is recovering well. I was honored to take them and love my family. :0)

Saturday

A Fall Family Session

My sister and some of her kids were visiting me so while they were playing in the leaves I grab my camera to take a few shots. I love the sound of the crunch the fall leaves make when the kids were running over them.

Tuesday

Down on the Farm

On May 13th I met Noah and Lisa on my family farm. It's a beautiful 432 acre farm located in the heart of Clarksville. We have a beautiful mile long lane, mini airport, horse farm, and so much more! I shoot their pregnancy photos here 8 months ago. Their little boy is cute as can be and looks just like his mommy. He was really intrigued by the horses! Since they traveled from Oregon we found out that their little boy has Maryland's lovely allergies and wasn't use too the hot humid weather we were having.
