The Investment

If you have come to this blog hopefully you have made the decision to invest in your family's events, memories, and milestones. Memories lasts a lifetime but it helps to have photos that recapture the intimate details that touch the heart, inspire the soul, and lay proof that your journey was worth the memory.

Your session can take place at Takisha's home or on location. Takisha uses natural light as well as flash photography for her sessions. The location can be somewhere unique to your family or ask Takisha for a location suggestion. The average session lasts 1 -2 hours.

If you decide to do Studio Photography Takisha will have different backgrounds to choose from. Children's costumes are also available.

Maternity and newborn sessions are a bit different. Maternity sessions are best if scheduled after 35 weeks. Ideal time for newborns is in the first 2 weeks of life because they are still in that sleepy moldable phase. The best time for babies is at 10 months since they are in the exploring and mischievous phase but can't run away yet.

All photographs are shot in color, but may be changed to black and white, sepia, or a special artistic touch done in Photoshop.
